sixstepsrecords is a record label founded in 2000 in Roswell, Georgia by author and renowned speaker, Louie Giglio. They are directly associated with the Passion Conferences. As a smaller recording company, sixstepsrecords partners with Sparrow Records for marketing, distribution and sales of their products.
The name of the company is taken from the Biblical telling from 2 Samuel 6 (coinciding with 1 Samuel 4:1-7:1 and 2 Chron. 15-16) of King David bringing the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem. David, and the priests carrying the Ark, became so overwhelmed by the glory of God that they took six steps, built an altar and offered sacrifices of praise to the Lord.
